PREV  Spring 1901 Adjudication:  NEXT

Now that German high command has been restored, the game proceeds! All your secret negotiations, (mis)information, and plotting will either bear fruit or come to naught. The orders received are absolutely fascinating, and I look forward to a frantic Fall 1901. Well, frantic for some.

Two comments: First, preliminary orders make the world go 'round. They prevent NMRs, which makes both players and GMs happy, and I strongly encourage everyone to use them (you never know when your internet might collapse, or your computer might need an essential part replaced). Please use them. The sense of last-minute panic upon realizing you might not have submitted any orders whatsoever is simply too terrifying to wish upon anyone. Second, some of you might have noticed that our first German player gave his location as a town in northern Italy, which is 100 km away from the epicenter of the earthquake which occurred in the early morning hours of 20 May. This is not related to his sudden absence from the game; I had tried and failed to reach him well before the earthquake struck. No matter what his reasons were, I think we can all agree he may have more important things to deal with than Diplomacy right now. Many thanks are due to Cartesian for stepping into the Stadtschloss with true Germanic efficiency.

And you may notice we have a bit of Press out of Berlin. Any players wishing to submit Press (including anonymously) can do so and I will reveal it along with the orders. Finally, if anyone spots a mistake, you have until the next adjudication to bring it to my knowledge. So, without further ado, here are the Spring 1901 orders. As we have no retreats, we proceed to the Fall 1901 turn, which will end on Monday, 28th May at 9:00pm US Central Time, which is Tuesday, 29th May at 03:00 London time for our two British players.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
