And so we begin, folks! Perhaps it is astonishing for this variant, perhaps not - but there is not a single failed move among your opening salvos. It's hard to divine what plans and schemes you may have concocted, but at the least I can see that there is no apparent Irish-Scottish feud. But after this very long opening turn, things will shorten. To finish up the year, the turn will be one week long. Do let me know if you think that deadlines could/should be shorter. I think having a specific day be the deadline is advantageous. The way this will work is that any hypothetical retreats will be adjudicated in a day or two but this will not extend the following move or adjustment phase; it will still run on Fridays. If anyone needs an extension, please let me know and I will accommodate your request.Â
