PREV  Spring 1570 Adjudication:  NEXT

And so the Warring States period begins! Sengoku, as it is known in Japanese, opens with what looks like a very typical divvying up of the neutral provinces. Except a very atypical situation of having armies in the way has made this quite the interesting opening season. It's been fun to watch how the neutrals can affect the board and who has profited from them, either by tactics or by negotiation. But it is, I admit, more effort than I anticipated to keep track of the neutral bids - mostly because RP does not understand the neutralness and individuality of each unit. I wonder if there's a way to change that. Something to look into. Thus, because I have to manually move units that should have succeeded but didn't because of support from a neutral against a neutral, please do check to make sure your units moved as they should have moved.

Anyway, here we go! Orders are below. I haven't seen any direct confrontation between powers yet, but I know it's out there, waiting with latent energy to strike. There was only one confused neutral down south in Bungo, which had competing bids for its support and found itself unsure of what to do. Remember - you can always negotiate with others for them to order neutral dip points in your favor!

No retreats; Fall 1570 orders are due at 07:00 US-Central, August 16th. That'll put it on Monday morning here, giving you guys the weekend to conclude negotiations. Maps are below and I am including the files for you to explore too. If I do figure out a way to force RP to understand that self-dislodgement doesn't apply to neutrals, it will probably involve a change in the game files themselves so I will need to resend the folder if that does happen. Still, for now, enjoy!
