PREV Fall 1570 Adjudication: NEXT

One year in and some trends emerge! In standard Diplomacy we'd call them the "corner" powers but Japan doesn't really have corners so the "end" powers, maybe? Regardless, it's Shimazu and Uesugi who seem to be left out in the cold of Winter 1570. Takeda takes a massive step forward, doubling in size and coming away with three builds following acquisition of two neutrals and one center grabbed from Oda. That's the finesse; on the other side of the spectrum is Chosokabe's blunt force in pounding his way into Bungo using all three units.

A follow-up to something I said earlier: I wanted to rework the Sengoku files to allow the neutrals to avoid the self-dislodgement rule. It worked, but the game became very unbalanced. So I reverted back to the original game and I have to manually update the map. What that means is essentially that if I include the game files in my adjudication along with the maps, anyone using it would be a tad confused. So if anyone likes, I can continue to send the files, but it won't reflect the actual game, unfortunately.

Of the eight players, only five get builds! Never seen anything like that since the game of Imperium I ran long ago. I'll give the week to get those builds in - due Friday, August 20th at 07:00 US-Central!
