My apologies for the delay - I had to fight back vicious zombies trying to eat my tasty, tasty brains.

HEADLINE: The Slumbering Giant pushed back!

Russian armies were stunned when the combined Austrian forces not only repelled their attack into Serbia, but were able to force their armies out of the Budapest. Meanwhile Russia fared better in the north as English naval support helped them to secure Sweden. Meanwhile in the southern climates Italian naval forces advanced into the Western Mediterranean and the Tyrrhenian Sea while French forces, again with the help of the Austrians pushed deeper into the Italian peninsula. England's fleets began to mobilize as well, several with one of them landing and claiming Holland from the Germans. Meanwhile Turkey remained mostly motionless, the armies in Bulgaria and Constantinople apparently at a standstill, leading to speculation that the commanders are in fact zombie lords pausing for a snack of brains.

In foreign news, allegations have been made that several US Senators have been victims of zombie attacks. "Look, they have no brains!" one doctor exclaimed. However, others were quick to point out that in no way was an abnormal characteristic and doctors are re-examining the Senators looking for more relevant signs, such as bite marks.
