The end of the year sees some futile acts and more than just a hint of skulduggery, wickedness and downright stabbery. Welsh troops cross the Channel, only to sail straight home again. German and Italian troops meet up for a glass of beer in Marseilles, whilst Sevastopol falls to the Turkish hordes. The Italians move against France in strength and very, very quietly, the Austrian navy docks in the port of Naples (just passing through no doubt). Spain finally surrenders her neutrality.

The Russian ASil was dislodged and only had the one retreat possible, which was to Pru. Rob, if you would rather retreat OTB then let me know ASAP. The deadline for builds will be 10th January at 2100 GMT.
