PREV  Fall 1902 Adjudication:  NEXT

Good evening from the States... for being the middle of July here, it has been cooler than normal. That is nice on our electric bill.

We are entering a different kind of season this time. There were two units that were dislodges, and I need orders to find homes for them. Most of the time, there are several options and the players have some choice. This time there are not many choices. England was able to dislodge England from Norway. Since the army cannot go into the water, the army cannot go to St Petersburg or Sweden, the only land space available is Finland. Austria was also able to dislodge Turkey from Constantinople. Turkey can retreat to Smyrna.

There are other options other than retreating available to these countries. They may choose to Disband those units this season. There is some strategy to consider here. In the case of England, when we get to the Winter adjustments next season, he will have three supply centers and would need to disband one unit. He could choose to disband his army in Norway and not have any further adjustments in Winter. Or he could retreat to Finland and disband any other unit in the Winter adjustment season.

In other news, France started moving towards Italy landing in Tuscany, Germany is on the march west, and Italy is moving further into the Mediteranian. Austria moved into Constantinople and Russia moved west into Norway.

I need orders for the following units that were dislodged:

The Turkish Fleet in Constantinople can retreat to Smyrna or disband.
The English Army in Norway can retreat to Finland or disband.

Autumn 1902 orders are due from Turkey and England on Wednesday, July 15 at 8:30 pm PDT (03:30 16-07-20 UTC).
Just an FYI... Winter orders will be due on Monday, July 20 at 8:30 PM PDT.
