PREV  Fall 1572 Adjudication:  NEXT

Folks, this turn we bid a fond farewell to Patrick, Daimyo of the Oda clan. The onslaught of Takeda warriors and Hojo vessels was too much, even if there was some confusion in the Hojo orders. Let it be a reminder to always double-check your submissions! Regardless, now the SC count leaders face off against each other without buffers, as even the neutrals are absorbed into the Asakura lands. No more neutral armies to bid for control over -- now we fight a zero-sum game. It's been fun, and a bit of a challenge to adjudicate. When all is said and done I would love to see some AARs about how the neutrals affected the game, and if there was any communications to the other side of Japan on how to use those bids to help your own cause, or hinder your rivals.

The Shimazu clan also now has their backs against the wall. It seemed that there may be a chance that the tide could turn against either Chosokabe or Mori but that pact held together and now the Shimazu are down to their last dot. Is it just me or does it feel like we're already deep into the mid-game? I cannot wait to see what comes next. Don't forget: 21 SCs required for a solo, and chaos builds mean even more excitement and intrigue! Can we do Winter 1572 adjustments by Monday, September 27th at 07:00 US-Central? That would be four days. Now that things are consolidating I think we can consider shortening the deadlines. Let me know if you disagree.
