Mario: I think we do mostly same as before. We must seek Peach more in France. Our friend in Germania wish to help us and now our friend of Espagna can help, too.
Luigi: Yes, we did get the good luck to stop Egitto from taking Tunisi from our friend. Did you see his letter where he pretend to try to save Tunisi from us Italia? That was much funny!
Mario: Si, si. It will not be easy to keep Egitto out but we must try. And hope that Spagna will help us to take Sverizza from the wicked one. I should think that he will like it in Marseilles this Spring.
Luigi: Our friend Germania shall be growing this Winter. He will eager to go for Francia and Anglia. This will help us to get through to seek Peach and help our friend Spagna.
Mario: You are true, Luigi. I mean "right." That is the word, I think.
Luigi: What of Turkey? Is he being the friend to Italia? He must see that we have tried to work with him and not against him?
Mario: Well, it is good that he did not fight at us with his ships in Ionian or his armies in Bulgaria. We must only hope that he will turn from not-mad to friend of us. We need his good feeling now and his help. I have sent to him letters to say that Italia will gladly help in return. Now we must only wait to see if he is good with us.

France to the Monarch: well that wasn't our most auspicious season ever. Let's put it behind us and move onward. Please disband the useless Arctic fleet: we need the real ones. I'll support you into Seville again, which Spain will leave undefended to cover Madrid. My army, unfortunately, needs to run north again to defend the homeland.

France to Spain: Auv is too good to be true, don't you agree?

France to Germany: we could have had so much, but you've thrown it all away. Quel une domage. Die slowly.

France to Poland: you treat your vassal states so kindly! Perhaps you would consider taking France on as domestic help once the Kraut has outlived his usefulness?

France to Egypt: Huzzah! Tunis for the Arabs!

Most confusing alliances in the game: Ukraine and Poland are allies. Poland and Italy are friendly, and allies through Germany. Italy is attacking Ukraine. Ukraine is fighting off Turkey. Turkey is poised to overrun Italy. So is Ukraine a "Central Power" or not? Will Poland attack him now? Or can Turkey and Ukraine bury their differences and wipe Italy out of the Balkans? This is confusing because it's unsustainable.
