I again did not hear from Britain, so his F Hel is automatically disbanded. Prime Minister, please send me some prelims for the spring ASAP to confirm you're still with us since this is two seasons gone by now. Germany builds A Fra and F Ber and Poland builds A War.

Spring 1997 orders and press will be due this coming Wednesday, August 11, at 9 pm eastern.

Germany to Poland: Thank you for your CZE. If you need CZE back, please tell me. In north, I will build F Berlin. It is of course peace to Poland. About F Sweden, you may either help my DEN or to SKA.

Germany to France: Finally you speak English. Sorry I can't read French. But it seems your Armies are not friendly to me at all.

Germany to Italy: Try Swi again?

I to T -- We're trying. Don't see how you expect to be friends with I and E both. Don't underestimate him because he's smaller. That corner needs our attention NOW or we'll be forever looking over our shoulders. U has the dots that can fuel the southern effort. Help me this year and you will be repaid. Help E (or stay neutral) and you force me to try to work with U. Stagnation is death!

I to P -- Let's work with T vs. U, assuming T plays ball. Else you could head northeast when R is finished?

I to G -- Stay the course. You've got the new units and more options. I hope you signal your intentions this Winter. If not, I'll assume a repeat.

I to S -- You've got tough choices to make. I can't guarantee saving Tunis for you, but I'll try. Best to hit Lyons, I think, as you're the only one who can, but Marseilles is interesting, too. Sets up all kinds of guesses around the Mars/Monaco/Piedmont/Switz clump.

I to F -- We wish we had your brain. Braised. In a white wine sauce.

I to R -- You make drinks from potatoes. Sorry, we find that completely disgusting.

I to B -- What's with this "Monarch" stuff? Are you a butterfly? Seriously, where's the PM? I thought you were ostensibly a democracy.

I to E -- Nice spin on the Tunis situation. Honestly. I admired the attempt. :-)

I to U -- I saved you for last because you're the hardest. Regret that Realpolitiks, as viewed from Rome, necessitate that I now favor your neighbors.

Spain to Italy: Done, and thanks for keeping Egypt out of Tunis. It might keep me around for a little while at least.
Spain to Egypt: I am confused by your lack of interest in Morocco, but thankful for the bounce in Tunis. I still encourage you to Morocco this year though. The English fleets are still occupied with their current task. He needs both to take the French pig up on his offer. Perhaps Lib - Tun to keep the bounce going while Alg steps into Mor? Just a thought.
Spain to France: Do all the women have the nasty here, or just most of them?
