PREV  Spring 2014 Adjudication:  NEXT

The proposal for a Danish solo has been voted down. Therefore I will post the open Russian position on the DC site and hopefully we'll have it filled soon. In the meantime there is a proposal for a draw between Canada and Denmark. As usual I will post the results of this as soon as I have votes from all necessary parties (which in this case are the four active players only). Bill's second NMR (on the retreat phase) will also be officially recorded, and those units will be disbanded, so the map remains the same. I will announce the deadline for Summer 2014 as soon as we have a new Russia.

Matt

So, despite my wish for the game to not be affected by NMR's, I can wait no longer. I never received moves from Russia, and thus all the gray units hold. Bill, please contact me ASAP to let me know that you are still in the game by sending me your retreats (see below). If I do not hear from you by tomorrow I am going to seek another replacement.

Consequently it is a tough year for Russia as he loses one unit to the melting ice and has two others dislodged. However, Russia's loss is everyone else's gain, as Canada secures the Yukon, the USA reclaims Magadan, Norway sails into the White Sea, and Denmark finally gets off of Novaya Zemlya, setting up camp in the Ural Mountains.

There are, as previously noted, two retreats: Russian F White Sea may retreat to Archangel, Kara Sea, or OTB, and Russian A Yukon may retreat to Barrow, Juneau, or OTB. These retreats are due tomorrow, Friday Nov. 6, at 9 pm eastern.

Also, we have another proposal for a Danish solo. Your votes for this are technically due with your orders for Summer 2014 (most likely Wednesday), but I will announce the results early if all votes are in.

Matt
