In the absence of any clear coalition to stop him, Germany pushes south in force. Turkey consolidates with victory in Rumania, whilst Italy cedes Greece to Austria. England's prospects look bleak as the Royal Navy forgets to stand to battle stations and loses control of the North Sea. The French have another extra long lunch and forget to do any fighting.

We have a retreats to process for English FNTH. The deadline is 2100 GMT on the 2nd February. If I get the order sooner I will adjudicate immediately. The deadline for the Fall is going to be a bit longer as I have my baby granddaughter to entertain next weekend. That's 2100 GMT on Sunday 9th February. I suspect that the Fall will precede the decisive year in this fascinating but rather unusual game. The NMRs from England and France make this a bit of a procession to victory for Germany.
