First, some general information:
I set a precedent early in this game, and in reviewing what I did last time, I am allowing the same "wrong" move this time. (I will run this variant again, but with the correct rules and Chaos Builds like I wanted this game.) I allowed Italy to move his fleet from Naples to Sicily.
Now, to the results. England was able to hold off the Spanish advances in the Irish Sea and was able to capture Belgium from France. Germany and France bounced in Burgundy, but Germany was able to take control of Stalingrad. USSR remains in the game with two supply centers, surviving attacks from Germany and Turkey. France bounced with Balkans in Milano, but otherwise remained in a supporting role this season.
Spain and Turkey tried to dance in Africa, but they stepped on each other's toes and didn't go anywhere. Italy dislodged the Balkans from Sicily, but lost Rome to the Balkans. The Balkans continued their march East and West and looks to capture the Italian peninsula shortly. Turkey continues to dominate the lower, Eastern portions of the board with now a tie with Germany of 10 supply centers each.
