The closing battles of 1998 bring us to the end of the road for Poland, and near to the same for Germany! The centre is having a tough time of it this game, it seems. Spain throws everything into the convoy to Clyde, and Turkey must be counting his blessings that the Italian-Spanish assault on Egypt has not let up, and ties between Russia and Ukraine have splintered. There are three units which require a retreat, all of them German. We'll do autumn and winter simultaneously this time, if you don't mind. Autumn retreats and Winter adjustments are due 14 April, 20:00 GMT.
