PREV  Winter 1904 Adjudication:  NEXT

The King is dead, long live the King! After a long and fruitful reign, the English monarch passed away peacefully, and so England takes the -1 Stability loss and enters a new phase of its history. What this means for us, however, is that life goes on. So here is a bit of press and the Winter adjustments. Spring 1905 orders are due 03 March, 20:00 GMT.

"Dear President Loubet,

You confuse expansion with aggression. While I made several *unopposed* early gains, you may have forgotten that it was Britain who induced me to move with him against you. As soon as I agreed, he immediately tried to stab me in the back. Since that time, I have been defending Belgium against you and the rest of my coast against Britain.

Doesn't it feel hypocritical to cast me as the warmonger when I have been the one defending against the two of you for almost the entire conflict? When I have repeatedly sought peace with Britain and even had my offer to help you rejected?

Given all that, it is no wonder that I welcome the Italian move on France. At least I seem to have one neighbour who is open to reason and sees political reality rather than fantasy.

Yours sincerely,
Wilhelm II, Kaiser of Germany and King of Prussia"
