The last German unit is surrounded in Berlin as the leadership collapses, and the French have their vengeance for 1941! Across the map, Russia expands further into Ukraine, occupying Kyiv and threatening the liberation of Rostov, although this comes at the temporary price of ignoring the Union Jack over St. Petersburg. And while the Spanish and Italians continue to cooperate against Egypt, the first cracks have potentially appeared in the triple alliance which has heretofore been unstoppable. Some questionable moves by both France and Spain towards Italy may be justified diplomatically; I'm not omniscient. But they caught my eye nevertheless! There were two dislodged units with one valid retreat each, both of which have been ordered. Fall 1999 orders are due 27 April, 20:00 GMT.
