PREV  Spring 2000 Adjudication:  NEXT

No orders from Ukraine means an NMR for the pink units. One more NMR and, by my house rules, I will be forced to either replace our Ukrainian leader or place the country in civil disorder. Hopefully I won't have to make that decision, but if I do I'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

The draw proposal was shot down by a vote of 3 yes, 4 no, and 2 abstain. We have a new draw proposal for a two-way draw between Poland and Germany. Votes for that proposal will be due with fall orders.

We have two retreats:
British F Edi may retreat to Cly, Nwg, Yor, or OTB.
Turkish F Eme may retreat to Ana, Izm, Syr, or OTB.

The deadline for these retreats and any summer press is this Monday, October 25, at 9 pm eastern.

Press #1:
Poland to Turkey:
Pull back APU and out of Serbia.

Press #2:
Egypt to France: OK about Spain, Germany is looking strong. Though based off Poland's builds, I'm guessing your Teutonic may soon have other worries.

Egypt to Italy: Why did you get rid of A Alb?
Press #3:
Turkey to the world- er, 4 way including france..er i dont think so. Last time i counted the totals were as follows:
Poland 12
Germany 10
Turkey and Egypt 8
France and Ukraine 6
Italy 5

no offence intended to Britain or Spain.

So, if we want to end this game im happy to vote on a 2 way German Polish win- lets face it nobody can stop them with their allies Italy and Ukraine, assuming those alliances dont change.
But, if we are going to be more inclusive then top 4 should be in, thats me and Egypt too, definetly not France or ukraine :0
Or maybe everyone, but poland and germany quite rightly wont agree to that.....

I propose we all accept the German Polish 2 way, it will save us all a lot of time and effort- there is nobody else who can rise against them, they will continue to grow. Egypt and I cant expand, both hemmed in- especially as we are now at war, and France is going down......and thats it, game over really. Lets all accept survivor points and get on to the next fun game eh?

Press #4:
France to England: Blimey! L'albion c'est perfide! What is your major malfunction? We had the German trapped in Ireland, with a nice fleet disband coming. I abandoned myself to the mercy of the Spaniard to save your sorry anglo-saxon assets, and you repay us all by NMR'ing on a crucial disband? Get your act together. I'll push the Hun on your Western coast; you can try to outguess him on the East.

France to Germany: No fair you get to pick on a guy who doesn't know how to use his email. I'll bet you guys screwed up the supports trying to take Austria again.

France to Italy: Once and for all, we don't have your peach. In Latin, peach is "prunus persica" (as you know, I'm sure). That means she's in Persia, which is coincidentally under Polish control. Those dirty Pollocks have your Peach! What else could explain the sudden influx of low-grade Peach Schnapps onto the market? Also: I can't believe you have the gall to ask your allies to help you into Serbia after you disbanded A Albania, which could have done the job. Instead, you're hanging onto the Most Useless Fleet in the World (F Pie), which is blocking the post-roads to the French colony of Milan.

France to Spain: You know what to do.

France to Egypt: Still thinking it over? Italy is as ripe as a peach for the picking!
