Diplomats,

The diplomatic victory that was proposed was voted down.

* It's a tough year for the Italians though as the western alliance goes all out and "liberates" Africa from the occupying Italian forces.
* Some disagreements about who should move where in the central arena leaves most of the troops where they are this season.
* Russia manages to get a hold of Sevastopol, but it's a hollow victory as the English storm into St. Petersburg. The British Fleets will find it hard to move further inland however...

We have a single retreat due, and it's the Italian Fleet positioned in Egypt that has to retreat, with several options available:
Italian F Egypt can retreat to Eastern Mediterranean, Cyrenaica, Palestine or OTB

Moving on to the winter adjustments, there are a lot of them this turn:
