It's a big turn for Russia this turn, picking up four centres and eliminating Ukraine in the process as a commanding lead is opened up over the next challengers. Britain nearly joins Ukraine on the way out, but a Spanish NMR offers a way out while Liverpool is surrounded. Steven, if you did send the orders, point them out to me because I can't find them (it's possible I may have accidentally archived the conversation). Points of interest this turn include Kazakhstan, which witnessed an inconclusive Russo-Turkish clash as both powers try to secure the eastern flank, the Franco-Italian no-man's-land, where tensions must remain high but defensive minds prevail, Scandinavia, where a naval battle may be brewing and Spain's interests will be of particular importance.

I would like to thank Sean for his participation as Ukraine. A tough spot to be sure, and he was looking good for a while there until things went badly quickly.
