Sorry for the delay guys. Egypt retreats F Eme - Lbn. Winter 2000 adjustments and press are now due this coming Monday, November 8, at 9 pm eastern. The proposal for the Polish solo still stands; votes are not due until the Spring 2001 deadline but again feel free to submit your vote whenever. Adjustments due are listed below the press.

Egypt to Turkey: Uncle! Uncle! I'll throw my weight to the better prospects in Italy and allow you to setup a defense against Poland ( and further pick the bones off Mr. NMR - that guy has single handily ruined this game!!). I will move F Syr - Emed in the Spring. Can you let me pass through? During the fall I will leave Emed, and maybe we can make it into a DMZ? Agreed? Also, can you support A Jor - Irk? From there we can provide mutual support against Poland (from rounding the corner).

Egypt to France: Would you support A Rom - Ven from Mil? That'll put our Italian friend in a nice pickle!

Poland to Germany: Come on man, don't NMR this game man.

France to Germany: Could you let me know next time you're going to NMR? It would be really helpful.

France to Poland: You have such nice neighbors, abdicating and giving you their SC. I can't believe you haven't faced serious opposition yet this entire game. Russia was incompetent, Ukraine was paralyzed, Turkey was remote, and Britain NMR'd all the time.

France to England: You missed a real chance to gain a march on the Germans. PLEASE get a move on and stop the Huns.

France to Egypt: Hurrah! How's that Roman peach gelato? Now for real, the only hope to avoid G-P dominance is to make peace with Turkey so he'll resist Poland. You have plenty of room for growth - I've marked those centers in green so they're easy to identify. Don't kid yourself: when G-P get through the rest of us, they're not going to accept a 3-way draw with you. It's either 4+ way, because a group of us deadlocks the P-G advance, or it's 2-way. Or one of them stabs and goes the solo... but which one will make the first move?

France to Spain: Good moves. You should probably sit tight in Auvergne. Next Fall, I'll need either support in Paris or a bounce in Bordeaux.
