No orders from Britain or Turkey, so they auto-disband and waive, respectively. The full list of adjustments is below the press. The deadline for Spring 2001 is this Thursday, November 11, at 9 pm eastern. Remember that is also the deadline for your votes on the proposal for a Polish solo.

Mario & Luigi decline to speak publicly about the recent Egyptian treachery. The following response to the Egyptian press of last Fall was read aloud to the assembled media representatives by Press Secretary Toad.

You, sir, are an opportunistic slimeball.

We were doing just fine until you arrived, you ungrateful wretch, and your self-serving justifications aren't worth the toilet paper they were scribbled on.

The Italian people greeted your ascension with friendship and support, which you accepted when convenient and then sneered at behind our backs.

Since taking over the easiest position on the board, you have displayed your moral fiber and tactical "prowess" by cowering from every nation with any strength comparable to your and preying on those who trusted you and turned to you for help.

We would rather see our Peach sipping Turkish coffee in Paris than to come home to find your slimy asp in Rome.

You are a bully, a braggart, and a carpetbagger.

We shall resist you and your conceit in preference to all others unto the end of our days.

Press #2:
Egypt to Turkey: Hoping to hear something positive from you in the Winter press. Perhaps it makes sense to hold off on supporting of A Jor - Irk until after F Syr moving west through Emed; that way Ada is totally safe. If you could move F - Aeg - Gre & F Aeg - Gre (or something similar), you'd be totally safe from an Egyptian stab. but I would then be able to move my fleet to a more useful . I'll then be able to boot Italy out of the boot. Assuming things go hunky-dory, I would then be able to move north, side-by-side with you and France.

Egypt to France: You got me on board. I just hope Turkey is able to forgive my former aggressive stance. At least I wasn't sneaky about it ... yeah, that and nickel might move those Turkish fleets north!
