I have always maintained the belief that Diplomacy is lacking in one critical regard. There is something to be said, I think, for the addition of musical accompaniment to fit different situations. Of course there would be differences across borders; the triumphic drums that would be enjoyed by one whilst making a bid for the solo victory must differ greatly to the lonesome oboe as another makes a heroic last-stand against inevitable and imminent elimination. And for our game, for this moment?
