Yours is no disgrace
Fall 1908

A bloody Fall in which three governments fall. The green, yellow and red flag of the alliance is flying high as Italians storm into Paris, London and Liverpool and the Turks surge into St Petersburg. Austrian audacity leads to the conquest of Berlin and causes chaos behind the lines for the German defenders. The German forces fight on gallantly but cannot cover all the provinces at risk. The Kaiser despairs as he takes losses on all fronts.

In an unprecedented turn of events (in my experience), we say goodbye to three players in one season here. Doug and Garry have been eliminated outright. Thank you both for playing with such good spirit and energy- especially Garry who stepped in as France #3. Once again no Russian orders have been received, so although Russia remains in the game (just), Maxime is eliminated and Russia is now in Civil Disorder. This has an important knock-on effect as the last remaining Russia unit has been dislodged. Being in Civil Disorder means that it cannot retreat and so is destroyed, which means that Russia will also be eliminated when the retreats are processed (holds 1 s.c. but no units and no means of building). It was a storming turn for the alliance and the writing is most definitely on the wall for Germany unless the allies turn on each other...

There are a few retreats to be dealt with:
Austrian- F Hol (Bel, HEL or OTB)
German- A Mun (Sil or OTB), A Lpl (Wal, Cly, Yor or OTB)
Russian- A StP will disband
French A Par is disbanded anyway since France is dead

Please could I have those by 2000 GMT 3rd July (or sooner if you are so inclined). Then we will move on to adjustments which are due at 2000 GMT on the 4th July.

Austria: builds 3 --> 8 s.c.
England: will disband last unit as eliminated--> 0 s.c.
France: 0 sc and eliminated. --> 0 s.c
Germany: must disband 1. -->5 s.c.
Italy: builds 3 --> 11 s.c.
Russia: CIVIL DISORDER.--> 1 s.c. but eliminated
Turkey: builds 1 -->9 s.c.

Obviously the German disband number could change if he retreats those armies OTB

A draw has been proposed for the first time in the game. The proposal is a 3 way draw involving Austria-Italy-Turkey. The four surviving powers should please submit their votes (yes or no) for this draw with your adjustments. I am excluding Garry and Doug from this vote as although technically they are still in until their armies are removed, they are to all intents and purposes no longer playing. To be accepted the proposal must be supported unanimously. If anyone fails to vote then that counts as a 'no' and the proposal will not carry. If the vote is in favour of the 3-way, then the game will end before the spring turn and Felix will be credited with survival.

We have some Press:
From the (almost drunk) French A in Paris: - au revoir!

France-All: - I wish I had gotten to play from the beginning. Kudos to AIT for sticking together, although I still think that someone is going to stab. For my part, coming in late I was in a bind and had little chance of survival I think. I would have allied early with GR but I didn't really have a lot of hope anyway given the positioning of the Italian units. So I rolled the dice and tried to play with Italy a bit in hopes of getting some different change in the AIT dynamic. That didn't happen and I was pretty much hosed at that point. Thanks for letting me fill in and thanks again to Simon. He runs impeccable games as a GM (and is a pretty darn tough competitor as a player to boot).
