PREV Spring 2004 Adjudication: NEXT

After a longer-than-expected spring, the results are in. The advance continues into Russian territory, possibly beyond the point of no return for the Kremlin. Despite valiant efforts to defend, the combined assault of three powers proves too much, not least because of Spain's flanking maneuvers around the White Sea. Turkey too finds that Italy may be impossible to stop, losing for the first time the City of the World's Desire, Istanbul (not Constantinople). Perhaps the only thing that may save them now is a collapse of the Western pact, but there are clear ways that the powers have shown to defend their borders. Are we destined for a three-way draw?

I felt that the retreats could be conducted myself in order to speed things up, so I did so. If anyone wishes differently, let me know. Fall 2004 orders are due 25 July, 20:00 GMT.
