It's on a turn like this that I realize how difficult it has become for Were-Hamsters to make progress in the north. He is temporarily blocked in many places unless he can shift some units around... which, to be fair, he can. This is that tactical, grind-it-out stage where he has to advance the football 2 yards against a packed defense. So, how did he do?

Mostly gridlock. But those grids that came unlocked...!

1) F Cly-Lvp; F Nwg-Cly; placing two Hamsters astride Liverpool (plus one 'non-adjacent' Hamster fleet in Yorkshire).
2) A Sev-Arm; after years of Blurbia politely telegraphing no intention to defend Armenia, the Were-Hamsters finally accept the invitation; progress in Turkey is now possible.

But...

3) A Tri-Tyl; F Ven-Tri; A Pie-Ven !!! Wu Tang guesses right; Were-Hamsters guess wrong; cats and dogs live together... but I confess, this would be a whole lot more devastating if Wu Tang had an army and not a fleet.

We have one retreat: Blurbian A Armenia may retreat to Smyrna or Syria.

Then, we'll have two adjustments:

Were-Hamsters to disband one
*Zonotrichia* to build (in Rome, of course)

Warren, you are a testimonial to perseverance. I was sure I'd never again type Zonotricha and build in the same sentence, except perhaps, "Were-Hamsters gain another build over Zonotrichia's dead body."

Retreat order due tomorrow. Adjustments welcome, too.
