That's all, folks! Apologies one more time for the delayed adjudication but it's been an active few days in Paris. And so the Eiffel Tower lights up in recognition of French victory in Europe! There are a few last-gasp efforts to stop the French but they are all futile and mostly symbolic anyway, being unsupported attacks to Petersburg and Marseilles. And so DC598 comes to an end with the French as board tops with 18, Austria & Italy jointly sharing 2nd place with 6, Russia in fourth with 4, and eliminations for England, Germany, & Turkey. Congratulations to John on a game well played, and thank you to all who participated. Special appreciation to Matthew and Kevin who stepped in and filled the roles of England and Germany, respectively.
See you all on the field of battle again!
