Gentlemen, our game has ended in a successful draw vote, giving victory to the combined forces of England, France, and Russia. Typically, the best GMing is done when it can never be noticed, and I don't think that was the case in this game. Frequent delays probably played a factor in folks deciding to cut the game short in 1906, and if that was indeed the case then I apologize. I'll take a bit of a break from GMing for a while. Hopefully there's someone around to carry on the DC torch. But that said, it was a game well-fought, and congratulations to Terry of the English, Matthew of the French, and Nathan of the Russians! Commiserations to Rene of the Austrians, Gerry of the Italians, and Andrew of the Turks. Condolences to John of the Germans, our only elimination (though had this year run its course, Austria would almost certainly have been eliminated also). As the draw is successful, I won't share the adjudication, lest minds start to wander and wonder about what might have been. AARs are always welcome!
