DC 306: Sengoku Rev6DP - SC Counts and other Bells... - Kenshi777 (Jul 06, 2010, 5:14 pm) |
Ladies and Gentlemen -
Between planning for my departure to annual training at the end of this week and the 4th of July vacations here in America, I was rushing through the adjudication, and realize I made a foolish error. I set a winter deadline, without realizing that no adjustments are due this season! So the Thursday July 8th deadline for Spring 1575 stands. I will be departing for my annual training this Sunday, and will touch base and set the Fall deadline when I arrive and confirm that I will have reliable net access as expected.
Sorry for the delay -
B.

Date Masamune was one of many daimyo that ruled a portion of the vast Mutsu province. They are most well known for their longevity, and indeed they achieved their greatest accomplishments merely by surviving the Sengoku Jidai era, and assuming control of the wealthy Sendai domain after the Tokugawa had consolidated control of Japan. The Date were provincial lords for nearly 700 years, one of the longest tenures of any clan in Japan's feudal era.
***TEAHOUSE COMMENTARY: Uesugi withdraws from his invasion of Asakura's domain, but does not find the support he needs to evict the Oda from their holdings in Mino. The Chosokabe and Mori armada continues to advance along both coasts of Honshu. Satomi Yoshihiro sends his neighbour Date Masamune his congratulations on being this months featured daimyo. Aw hell, guys. I'm almost out - I could take Sean's place. I promise I won't let my personal views skew the game (too much). But really, I'm perfectly good waiting or replacing, either way suits me.

Hi guys,
Regardless, I'm going to adjudicate the turn tomorrow at 9 (no receipt = no orders received). I'd like to see what people want to do moving forward. Delay two weeks after tomorrow's adjudication, or seek a replacement.
Let me know in the next couple of days. If we need a replacement, best to start looking. If not that's cool too in my books.
Best,
Mike

dc330: deadline changes - dknemeyer (Jul 06, 2010, 3:50 pm) |
Hi Everyone,
Germany has indicated he will not have orders in on time and thus
automatically activates his single eight hour extension for this game.
I will adjudicate as soon as I am able once his orders arrive,
sometime between now and 1am ET.
Please remember that you MAY thus continue submitting orders after the
deadline this turn. They will be accepted up until the moment
Germany's orders arrive, after which no further orders will be
processed. Also keep in mind that, according to my House Rules, now
that Germany has taken his extension he may NOT issue late orders in a
future turn even if another player has exercised their once per game
deadline! For him (and any other players who take their extension) the
next late provision of orders will result in an NMR.
Finally, I have had a request from a player who will be on vacation
next week to extend the adjudication. Per my house rules I will always
move deadlines when given good reason a full week in advance. My
preference is to keep our basic schedule but not delay the game by a
week. So, I'm going to propose the following upcoming deadlines:
Thursday July 8 - Winter 1937
Thursday July 15 - Spring 1938
Friday July 16 - Summer 1938 + Fall 1938 *prelims*
Tuesday July 20 - Fall 1938
If this does NOT work for anyone please let me know as soon as you
can. Otherwise, assume this is the schedule for the next couple of
weeks!
Adjudication will come quickly after I have the German order...

Having forgot their toothbrush, Londoners visiting Norway make a quick stop back at home... and Turks, well, get eaten alive by the vultures in the east -- Austria and Italy dismantling the Turkish empire like a couple of really bad Jenga players. "I want this piece! Ok, but I get... <crash!>" And we finally have our winner of the first eliminated honors, thanks Jeff for a good game! Better luck next time, and feel free to write up an EOG for me and send it to me while the game is fresh in your mind. I'll hold it till the end.
Of the 6 remaining, everybody gets to do exactly one thing this winter! (whether it be build or remove...) How's that for everyone gets to play?
Austria: Build
England: Build
France: Remove
Germany: Build
Italy: Build
Turkey: Remove
Adjustments, by Thu! 3pm Central, tho I'll send out whenever I have all 6.

I suppose, but I clicked the space probly 10 times, saved the
game, reloaded, tried again, until it finally dawned on me why F Tra wasn’t
working.

Samurai did order a build of F Tra, which gets a big (*Invalid*)
after it, which I mistakenly omitted since it’s such a bad order that Realworld
doesn’t even let you input it.

Not
that it matters greatly, but as the GM can I hope attest, I did attempt to
build F TRA, but idiotically did not realize it was landlocked (I thought it
was on the river). Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I
told people I was building F tra, so I wanted to explain. (Michael,
a really quick GM confirmation on this would be swell if you can). Thanks!

Guys,
Prognosis was worse that I thought - spent significant
amounts of the weekend in the ER and Urgent Care of my HMO. I have a herniated
l4-l5 disc in my spine. I have submitted orders for this turn, but due to the
likely course of treatment I will be undergoing I have to either offer my
resignation of my position (under the don't Dip drugged standard) or ask for at
a two week delay. I will understand if you need to replace me here, and
apologise for having held things up so much recently.
