If anyone is at all uncomfortable with that, due to the sheer number of retreats or the fact I chose a disband, please let me know and I'll step back a bit. Also, if Mark or Jeff would prefer that a retreat I pushed be sent OTB instead, please let me know by Monday afternoon.

Gunther,

No problem guy. I asked for this vote in order to give you a small chance to have your missing order pass to please you.
You will notice that I denied it at first and that YOU requested the motion. Why then ?

Heya everyone,
Cory finds himself out of contact this evening and asked that I send out the winter results for him. We see new armies formed in London, Budapest, Marseilles and Constantinople. Turkey also builds a fleet in Constantinople. Meanwhile, Italy disbands in Albania and we bid farewell to the last German and Russian units.
We'll Blitz on... Spring 1906 orders are due Monday, May 4th (20:00 PM GMT).

Builds are out! There seems to be a balanced approach all around, those who could do so took a mix of armies and fleets… and of course it just wouldn’t be the Ancient Med without a bit of ancient press…
"The Roman Senate wish to give notice to our friends in Greece and Egypt that a Roman Fleet has not entered Cretan territorial waters"
(I guess this turned up on Cretian shores in the form of a stone tablet – in a bottle – the question of course remains how they got it in there)
NEXT: Spring 02 will be due in 1 week! Next Friday 5/8, 10am Pacific!

NEXT: Builds - Nothing to build!
SPRING 12: Due Friday May 8, 6pm Central US.
Dont forget the 3-way draw vote also due on Friday.
It looks like Russia is +1 but it also seems he got an extra unit last year! Nobody caught this? Be sure to check results - especially in a hand-adjudicated game! Now it's history, and tho Russia gained a center, he gets no build this turn as he's 11/11, caught up and all even.
Enjoy!

Constantinople falls to the Russians! Other than that, lots of static tension but not much giving in…

dc237-adjudication spring08...the orders - phantomas (May 01, 2009, 7:55 pm) |
Hello Gunther,
According to the rules of Diplomacy, a unit which has [u:c42d8f337f]no move received[/u:c42d8f337f] is considered as getting a [u:c42d8f337f]hold[/u:c42d8f337f] order.
Since DC237 is not a tournament game, I agree to make an exception to the rules but only if [u:c42d8f337f]all[/u:c42d8f337f] players [u:c42d8f337f]still alive[/u:c42d8f337f] in the game agree with.
So I submit a vote to Austria, Russia, France and England to know if the missing order of the French A WAL can be counted as moving to PIC.
If I get the [u:c42d8f337f]unanimity of YES[/u:c42d8f337f] then the move A WAL-PIC will be recognized as valid. Otherwise the unit will stay in WAL.
You have till Saturday, March 2nd 12:00 GMT to vote and a missing vote will be considered as a NO.
Regards,
Jluc.

I would like the GM, players and observers to please note that the intent for A Wales was clear, as it is stipulated in 2 supporting orders and a convoy order. I would like to submit a motion to have A Wales Picardy recognized as a valid move.
Sincerely
Gunther

DC226 before Spring 06 Press! - hapolley (May 01, 2009, 5:27 pm) |
To Franz Josef.
Thank you for your kind offer of an Italian seaside resort in return for the German people's support of your munificent regime.
We will in due course be glad to take you up on this offer, though Venice would be more to our liking not having fleets to defend the overrated retirement resorts of NAP and ROM.
In the meantime we shall support you to the hilt in your efforts to stop the Turk who will continue to try and expand at your expense.
Have no fear in deploying your forces fully against the Sultan. We stand behind you every inch of the way!

But I like being "off the hook". I am also the "shizzle" and the "bomb-diggity" for those scoring at home.
Oh wait...I probably should choose something English so let's go with "cheeky".

Greetings Fellow DC246 Participants,
The Übermensch are not pleased with me. I should not have said you are off the hook. They do not like my use of Dave Chappelle-like slang. It was the worst thing they'd ever heard.
Again, I apologize for calling all the players in DC "off the hook". I retract that, and say, only the players playing Austria and Turkey in my game are "off the hook".
Grace and Peace (to all players who are not Austria and Turkey),
Inimically Yours (to the players playing Austria and Turkey),
Michael

dc237-adjudication spring08...the orders (dc237) phantomas May 01, 07:55 pm |
Regards,
