DC138 Winter Of Our Discontent - Fall 2006 - Famil... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Now, what would be eerie is if Florida’s car really did get keyed… One would have to wonder.

This makes no sense. You state you’ll shoulder the blame to end the bickering, but then you state all are to blame. Truly indicative of what diploming with you has been like.

Oh boy... here we go again... the current state of the game is all my fault... Okay I'll shoulder the blame... just to put and end to this childish bickering...

I can pin my failure on myself.

I think HL can carry his own load and you too.

Cuba was just relentlessly stabbed... hats off to Florida for his timing.

BC and Cali and Mexico have just been fortunate that the rest of our mistakes made their direction and gains so much easier of a choice.

Such is life... now enough of the childish bickering... NY, HL and QC are all to blame for the mess in the NE.

Yes but when we complete the story, we also recall that NY orchestrated the stab… and you’ve since admitted that you don’t think triples can work, so you entered the alliance knowing you’d stab it (or try your best to arrange where 1 stabs 1 so you can join in on the side of your choice) well in advance of it even being an alliance. You can’t pin this failure on anyone else but yourself.

Well. I guess you CAN. But then I’d reference my previous post about getting a clue.
Quebec.

Hi folks,

Apologies for being quiet over the weekend. Our replacement Arch-Duke is Max Victory. You can get in touch with him at (maxatrest AT yahoo DOT co DOT uk). My thanks to our brave sacrifical lamb for joining up for the Spring slaughter. =P

Secondly, just a note. Somehow our friend Bill Taylor got caught up in the group emails for this game. PLEASE do not include him in any further mass transmissions as he has requested to be removed from all game communication.

Thanks everyone. Hope you all had a great holiday weekend.

Cheers!

My deadline is ALWAYS 10PM EST.

I am horrible about confirming orders, but have no problem with you pestering me 4000 times for confirmation.

For Spring 01 I currently have orders from EVERYONE except Germany.

dc130 ~ Imperial1840 - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Deadline tonight at 2359 GMT!

Please note: Game adjudications are sent out via email AND posted on the
game's page on Diplomaticcorp.com AND the dpy file and maps are uploaded
to http://mainecav.org/diplomacy/dc130

I always check the Diplomaticcorp forum for personal messages (PM)
before I finalize adjudications in case someone sent moves in that way.

If you think you are not getting emails from me you should check the
SPAM/Junk folders and filters on your end. Put my email address in your
address book, etc. My filter tags things it thinks are SPAM and most
email I get from those not in my address book, to multiple recipients
containing adjudications (long lists of jibberish) get tagged - I get
them, they're just tagged as SPAM.

DC170 spring 1901 results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Spring 1901 opens with only one bounce, as Russia and Turkey come to a standstill in the Black Sea. England swings his fleets northward, France makes a supported move into Burgundy, Italy sends an army to Apulia and holds the other in Venice, Russia orders an army to Livonia, and Turkey advances into Armenia.

No retreats for summer 1901, of course, so we move directly to fall 1901, which is due Thursday 3/27 at 3pm Pacific / 23:00 GMT.

dc171 - Spring 1901 - Results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
GAME NOTES:
A rocky start for Turkey as he did not submit orders. His units hold. Onward march.

As a side note, I do not like to do weekend adjudications. Except for some very rare circumstances, we will do condition builds based on any pending retreats from the fall retreat phase (if necessary).

For example, say Austria has a retreat from Vienna. If Austria retreats to an available Tyrolia, Russia may want a different build than if Austria retreated to an available Galacia. So, for those builds, Russia would put down the following as an example:

Build A WAR (if Vie retreats to GAL)
Build F Sev (if Vie retreats to TYR)

I'm hoping to keep your weekends clear and also to keep pace with the tournament schedule. However, I do NOT want to confuse any of the players. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this.

DC152 (wb0817) - Spring 1912 - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Heya guys,
Well - due to my second laptop implosion in two weeks, I went out and bought a new Mac today. So far I'm liking it, but am learning everything all over. *sigh* Anyways, you'll notice a slight format change here - I'm just copying and pasting from RealPolitik rather than use my previous format. (So go easy on me, guys..)

We have an E/F draw proposal on the table. Please vote for this with your Fall 1912 orders on Thursday. Prior to that, however, we have one Russian retreat from Galicia which will be due tomorrow evening at 11:59 PM GMT. (Tuesday, March 25th).

One note about the draw vote. This Spring makes Spencer's third major season NMR in a row. If Spencer NMR's in the Fall, Turkey's vote will be automatically counted as a YES for the draw.

Good enough for tonight, guys. Cheers!

dc171 - Spring 1901 - CORRECTED results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
GAME NOTES:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATED - It looks like I am off to a rocky start too. Even though I haven't GM'ed in a year, I should be able to tell the difference between Holland and Denmark. Germany correctly ordered to Holland and not Denmark.
I'm sorry about this. The maps and webpage on the DC site have been updated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

DC161 Knights Who Say Ni! - Winter 826 - A Man Wit... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
... It's perfectly easy for somebody just to come along here to the BBC simply claiming... that they have a bit to spare in the botty department...but the point is Mr. Frampton... our viewers need proof...
--------------------------

Good thing the Swedes don't have three buttocks.. They'd run out of pants material - stretching it thin enough as it is with two brand new armies. Anglo-Saxons and the Norse both build fleets and the Danes launch fireboats for all their units except for the one in Ribe.

Deadline for Spring 827 orders will be set for Monday, March 31st (11:59 PM GMT). Cheers!
