Simon,
I don't like the game to end this way. I think the game deserves an proper finale to give credit to the players that enjoyed it and also for the efforts you have put in. I'm not just saying that because I'm in the lead, if that's what people might think.
There must be another way.
Can't we ask the Light Brigade to step in for players that no longer (want to) play?

OK, it’s bad news gentlemen.
The deadline has passed. I have received orders from just 2 players (France and Germany), but votes on the game end proposal from 3 ( 2 votes for a DIAS and 1 against). I am guessing that other players have voted with their feet, or their emails to both of my addresses have disappeared into the void (which I consider highly unlikely).
I have decided that this game is null and void. Clearly some strange technical issues have come into play and have hopelessly compromised the game. I deeply regret this as DC251 was shaping up nicely. Thanks for your time and interesting play. Sorry that it has had to end like this.
Best wishes
Simon
