The draw is voted down, so the battle for the Arctic rages on! As usual
the fall is filled with plenty of positioning moves, but points of
interest include a Danish army setting up camp at the North Pole on the
heels of the leaving Russians and a bounce in the Gulf of Alaska that
causes a whole chain of units to remain in place. We also have an
interesting situation for the winter involving our one-center powers;
both the Americans' and the Norwegians' last fleets are currently
anchored in seas that are going to freeze for the winter (see list below
adjudication), so failure to escape to warmer waters would have fatal
consequences!
There are no retreats, so we progress directly to Winter 2013, which
will be due this coming Wednesday, October 14, at 9 pm eastern. We also
have another draw proposed, this time for a 3-way share of the victory
between Canada, Denmark, and Russia. So please include your votes for
this with your winter orders.
