"Morning, day, night, afternoon... stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab, stab-stab, stab stab..."

How many stabs is that?

A lot.

Hey, I like that. Reservoir Dogs and Diplomacy have a lot in common - I wonder if there's a variant in there?

Whadda we gonna tip the waitress?

You all watch out for those pink sails coming down the coast! They're hot, and they're after you!

(I'd better get cracking on writing a RealPolitik replacement soon so that we won't have to see all those ugly primary colors anymore...)

Really, this is awesome. Thanks.

The following update is purely preferential, but for those who would
prefer to see historically accurate unit icons, delete the original
variant files and replace them with these.

Note - any saved games you have with the old files should still work
fine with the new ones, but your player color *may* have changed
slightly.

Thanks!

variant to ensure everyone is clear on the rules, I would hate to see
the deadline arrive and I have to adjudicate a bunch of orders as
invalid in the first season - I'm sure that would be very frustrating
for the players.

Illustration (hypothetical) of Valid and Invalid Orders for Neutrals:

VALID - (1 DP) A Settsu Holds

VALID - (2 DP) A Yamashiro S (Chosokabe) F Osaka Bay - Settsu

INVALID - (1 DP) A Yamashiro - Settsu (Neutrals cannot move)

INVALID - (1 DP) A Yamashiro S A Settsu - Kawachi (A Settsu cannot
move to Kawachi)

Neutrals cannot move - they can only be ordered to support other
*player's* units to move, or they can be ordered to hold.

Thanks -
B.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
