***Newsflash***

Yesterday, Christians around the world celebrated the resurrection of their Lord.  Today, Worldwide Diplomacy players have another resurrection to celebrate: DC287.  I realize the game has appeared to be dead for much more than three days, so that's probably a poor comparison, but I thought maybe if I was witty you guys might be more willing to forgive me.

I won't bore you with the details of what happened unless you're really interested.  The result, however, is that I will no longer be treating this as a test game and more as a regular game.  To be clear, NMRs will now be adjudicated as such and grace will not be shown to unreceived orders.  The goal is to finish this game as quickly as possible from here on in.  I had eight sets of orders in before this lengthy break, so I will assume those and move forward from there.  I may have received more orders in the meantime, and if I did, I'll respond to them.  I haven't opened any of the emails from the interim... if I ever need a hit to my ego, I'll go back and read about how awful a gm I assume you think I am.

I am committed to finishing this game, and I am still excited to see what happens from here on in.  My apologies once again.

I'll set a deadline for the current set of moves of Wednesday, April 7, at 1pm CDT with a promise of adjudicating it that afternoon/evening.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
