Longer EOG statement to come, but I wanted to take this opportunity to
say Thank You to Alex for hosting this game, and "YEAH!!!!!"
Oh, and Alex, about the maps --- thank you thank you thank you for
always including them with the stage mails. My work tends to block
the website, so having them in the email saved me so much time and
aggravation!

Gentlemen,
When, in the Course of Ancient human events, it becomes necessary for four
peoples (one being eradicated) to dissolve the political bands which
have seperated them from each other, and to assume (among the powers of the
earth) a decent respect of the opinions of mankind, it is required that they
should declare the causes which impel them to the binding.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Powers are created equal,
that they are endowed by their GM with certain unalienable Rights, that
among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Supply Depots. Blah blah
blah, we hereby proclaim the establishment of the Egyptian/Persian utopia,
wherein we will all worship cats and very fancy rugs. Hooray!
Yep, you guessed it. We have a draw! Congratulations to Mike and Adam on
the results. I'll submit them to DC and resolve this game. My apologies
for never being able to post maps on the website, I know that was an
inconvenience. If you have any other criticisms or advice on how to improve
my GMing, now is the time to say so - I'm always looking to improve my
playing-God abilities.
EOG statements are welcome.
Thanks for playing, and take care!

"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered.
Full of darkness and danger they were. and sometimes you didn't want to know
the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to
the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a
passing thing. The shadow, even the darkness must pass. A new day will come.
And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the
stories that stayed with you - That meant something. Even if you were too
small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know
now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they
didn't. They kept going because they were holding onto something."
"What are we holding onto, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting
for."
