Greetings from the Sultan.
I had the fortune of finding a kindred spirit to the north, which
more or less ended Austria’s existence. Austria had Italy for an ally,
but he saw the light after having fended off, and then there was only one way,
west. I am a bit surprised Alan/England bought the draw so soon; after all he
might have had at least 2 more years before withdrawing to his homelands, but
as a wise chessplayer could see – the end would come ….at the end J
Thanks for a nice and sober game; I really enjoyed it.
Poul

Hey all,
Peace reigns across Europe today as the world leaders sign an accord ending
hostilities. I'm honestly a bit suprised the draw passed so relatively early in
the game, so I've checked and rechecked, but it appears I have a yes vote from
every surviving player. The motion carries. Congratulations to Russia, Italy,
and Turkey, the members of the 3 way draw!
I'd love to see End of Game statements from all the players. I'll comment
myself after everyone has had time to get their EoG's in. Congrats again
everyone, especially RIT!
John
