So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

The Kaiser has chosen to abdicate by retreating his dislodged units OTB. Scott, thanks for playing! As a result, England now won't have a removal due in the winter adjustment phase.

Winter 1906 adjustments will still be due Friday 5/7 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. That's now today even in my time zone, thanks to a ridiculously long day at work.

The adjustments will be as follows:
France: remove 1
Germany: remove 1 / eliminated
Italy: build 2
Russia: build 2
Turkey: remove 1 / eliminated
