Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

(Let's try that again, I stumbled upon a keyboard shortcut to send the e-mail before I finished drafting it.)

We bid a final farewell to both Germany and Turkey. Italy and Russia each build one of each unit, while France gives up Burgundy.

Spring 1907 orders will be due Monday 5/10 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. Along with your orders, please cast your votes on the following endgame proposals:
* a 3-way draw among England, Italy, and Russia

* a 2-way draw between Italy and Russia
