Happy new year. I would like to confirm Turkey's first point: Germany has never had any communication with Turkey, besides the two messages that were meant for all diplomats to see. Therefore, Germany considers himself in a neutral relationship or rather no relationship at all with Turkey. Germany does not wish to participate in the war against Austria: Germany has no alliance with or against Austria. The reason why Germany is not attacking Austria is because his interests lie elsewhere, and although Austria might have spread lies, these lies had no considerable negative effects on the German nation.
Greetings,
Lawrencelot

Happy New Year Diplomats --
Turkey once again finds itself in the position of having to counter false rumors planted against my interests. So let me state the following:
(1) Turkey has never had any communication with Germany during this game -- therefore the attempt to tell Russia that Turkey is conspiring with Germany against Russian interests is an elementary and rather simpleminded fabrication. I challenge the author of that lie to forward to all of us, via broadcast, any communication Turkey has had with Germany; and,
(2) Turkey has advised Russia not to protect Moscow because there is no immediate threat to that SC - instead, Russian armies are better used at present to present a solid wall against the German land forces to the west. More importantly, I ask why the German would hesitate at this point in launching an attack against Austrian SCs? The move is an obvious one that any experienced Diplomacy gamer would see as inevitable and next.
It's a shame that Austria's desperation has led to these attempts to shatter strong strategic decisions by Turkey, Russia, and Italy. The writing is on the wall for Austria if that tripartite alliance holds, and Turkey will not be the first to break that alliance.
The best way to fight Austrian lies is the bright light of truth via broadcast. As always, if this broadcast seems in any way ambiguous to any recipient, please contact Turkey and I will be glad to answer by broadcast any remaining issue.
Cheers --

This broadcast is to clarify Turkey's position with Austria so that no doubts will remain in the public domain. Despite the Archduke's desire to create confusion in the Southeast, Turkey considers herself in a state of war with Austria. Moreover, Turkey supports the efforts of her good ally Russia to hold off the Austrian, and Turkey supports her good friend Italy in that country's efforts to forestall the Austrian's misguided aggression in the Adriatic and southern Mediteranian.
Moves submitted by Austria -- such as the support for Turkey's AEG fleet into Bulgaria last round -- are simply an attempt to create disharmony and suspicion between Russia, Italy, and Turkey. The Sultanate remains committed to friendship and alliance with the Russian and the Italian governments in order to see through to the end the destruction of the Austrian state.
If this broadcast seems in any way ambiguous to any recipient, please contact Turkey and I will be glad to answer by broadcast any remaining issue.
