Captain of the Watch

Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

This likely won't come as a surprise to anyone, but both England and Russia failed to send retreat orders. Since there was more than one possible destination for both dislodged units, it's not possible for me as GM to order a retreat... so both units are removed from the board!

Fall 1903 orders will be due Thursday 1/27 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT.
