Gents, I must admit a small error.

The adjustments table published with yesterday's results was incorrect with regard to Italy.  Instead of saying "Unit 4, Remove  1", it said "Unit 3 Build 0".

Obviously the adjustment table I distributed contradicts the map I sent out and the main text of my message.  Nevertheless, I feel that in order to be 100% fair I needed to notify everyone and, because of the lateness of this correction and the fact that Brian is on the other side of the world, my conscience won't allow to charge Brian with an NBR if I don't receive a disband by tonight's 6:00 p.m. deadline.

Therefore, I am officially pushing the deadline back to 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.  If I hear from Brian later tonight, I'll post tonight.  If I don't hear from him by then, I'll apply the standard rules for NBRs.

My apologies for the (probable) delay.  I will accept revised orders from all players up until the time I begin adjudicating.

This message is in reply to post 19515:

Hi Players,

Well, our Italy managed to slip his orders into the mailbox just as I was locking it up for good.  As it turned out if might not have made any difference in the results, but it does save me some "paperwork", which is nice, and it does still prove he's still around, so there's always hope!

Headlines this season in Europe:

Russia Romps!  With the addition of Denmark, Berlin and Greece, the white army is now comfortably top of the board with 11 SC.

Germany Survives on One.  Kaiser Boomer declares his country is "perfectly positioned for a comeback."

France Plays Nice and Nasty.
England remains in favor, but one turn after helping Italy to Munich he turns around and gives him the boot.

Austria Survives on Two.  Russia and Turkey continue to resist the lure of a wide-open Vienna.

Nature Abhors Mediterranean Vacuum.  That giant sucking sound in the Med is the whoosh of French and Turkish fleets rushing in to fill the void left by the implosion of the Italy navy last Spring.

RETREATS:

German fleet Berlin is auto-retreated to Prussia.
Italian army Munich is auto-retreated to Silesia.

Since both parties will need to remove a unit in the Winter, we'll just ignore the old OTB option this time.

ADJUSTMENTS:

France, Russia and Turkey are UP.
Germany and Italy are DOWN.
Austria and England are EVEN.

See the chart below for the numbers.

NEXT
DEADLINE:

Winter 1905 is due tomorrow, Friday, February 10, at 18:00 (that's 6 p.m.) Eastern time.

Cheers,
Chris
