I haven't looked to
see where the rules stand on this one, but I don't think that the ruling on the
game-end proposal is in the best interests of all concerned.
Obviously if anyone
wants to vote no to the draw then fine, but if as I suspect four active players
vote yes and two inactive players don't vote I can't see that it helps if the
game-end proposal is defeated.
If Russia does drop
out I am not happy at the possibility of a replacement. My whole strategy in the
game has been based on building up a good understanding and alliance with Russia
and the possibility of him being replaced by a psychotic stabber or a complete
novice doesn't bear thinking about.
I have already been
stuffed once by the replacement of a useless England with someone who is a cross
between Albert Einstein and Paul McKenna and I don't want to leave this game
with nothing because of the constant change in personnel. If everyone still
playing wants a draw let's agree to put this game out of its
misery.

Subject: DC 347,
Summer 1905
Okay, no word from Paul so his fleet goes
away. Anyone know what has become of our fearless Russian
leader?
There is a new proposal on the table for
a four way E/F/G/I. Votes are due with fall orders, and just a reminder that
it MUST be unanimous. That means I need six yes votes, but the person that
proposed it is already assumed to have voted yes.
Fall
1905 is due in one week, on Friday March 11, 17:00 MST.
New
maps are attached. Enjoy.
