Gents,

A very interesting season with some creative moves thwarted by sound defense. The greater Ionian Sea has no less than four powers squaring off across the impassable deepest regions of the central Med. Rome's trajectory remains stratospheric, while on the other end of the continuum Persia shows fighting spirit but simply faces too many foes - at least, at the moment. Carthage wanes, Egypt waxes, and Greece celebrates rome's disinterest in an eastern campaign. So goes Spring 03!

There is only one retreat this season: Roman A Cappadocia can retreat to Galatia or OTB. I've provisionally retreated the unit to Galatia; Tim, if you prefer OTB just let me know and I will run an actual summer season.

All players, please recall that we are taking next week off to accommodate a player's vacation. Kindly get prelims in for the fall by this Friday, March 25, *but* the fall adjudication will not commence until Tuesday April 5.

Enjoy!

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
