Hi Players,

Now this is what I call a decisive season.  No, not decisive as in deciding the game.  Decisive as in not waffley.  Last Fall I took in twenty sets of Fall orders before the deadline.  That was an average of 3+ for each active player.  This time, fewer than ten.  I guess some turns are easier than others.

Highlights of the season:

The French Channel is challenged, but the Frogs hold fast.

The Kaiser kicks the Italians all the way out Germany, but I don't think they're yet sleeping soundly in Munich.

Russia nobly joins the stop the leader movement.  His reward?  Getting back-doored by the Sultan.

Turkey makes a move, or maybe a couple of moves.  Opportunities galore for the Ottomans this Fall.

Actually, I think we can generalize that last statement to say there are a plethora of options for everyone on the table.  I know what that means.  Late nights for you, and for me?  Time to get ready for another Fall season of heavy traffic in my Inbox.

RETREATS:
French F Clyde can retreat to Liverpool or North Atlantic Ocean or OTB.
Italian A Ruhr can retreat to Burgundy or OTB.

NEXT DEADLINE:  Retreats are due tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3, at 18:00 Eastern time.  Recall that retreat orders are considered final unless otherwise noted, and so I will send out the results early if they're in and I'm able.

Cheers,
Chris
