Can you appeal to Sims to at least allow you to retreat? I don't
think it being 'out of turn' affects the integrity of the game. If
all remaining vote for it? I vote yes. Anyone else?

My apologies. I rarely miss deadlines, and I feel terrible about it.
I don't like what it does to my position, and I don't like what it
does to the game's balance. I wasn't able to make these deadlines,
though I should have had preliminary orders in.

I woke up recently with a feeling that I couldn't keep my balance,
as I walked up the stairs my shoulder kept bumping into the wall on
the right, and I missed the chair when I tried to sit down. My wife
called our doctor, and she suggested I go to the ER to check for
signs of a possible stroke.

The doctor checked me out, and wasn't sure what the cause was. Since
I was still out of balance and had a slowed thinking process, I had
to stay where I was, and was out of email contact for (a week? days?
not really sure).

I'm back on email now, and feeling better. We're still not sure what
caused it, but I'm healthy and young (and invincible!, right?
right?), so we're moving on.
