"O! that a man might know
The end of this day's business, ere it come;
But it sufficeth that the day will end,
And then the end is known."
- Act V, Scene 1
Now that the drama of the English stab is past, we have entered a time of repositioning and uncertainty. Units seem to be scrambling madly around the board trying to establish some semblance of battlelines. Fingers are being stuck into dikes, but the floodwaters press. Perhaps apropos of this discussion, England occupies Holland. Yet he loses Norway and Brest. Plus, Sevastopol is endangered. Meanwhile, skitterish French fleets rush to protect Rome and Tunis from unrealized attacks, while Austria supports Greece-Aegean. Frankly, I have no idea how all this ends. Just that it will end someday. And that sufficeth for me.
Actually, it could end next Tuesday. Three different draws have been offered:
AEFG
AFG
EFG
You know the drill: (1) submit your orders without votes; (2) wait for the GM to razz you to submit a vote, and (3) conspire among yourselves to make sure none of the proposals passes.
There is one retreat, an auto-retreat. German army Galicia retreats to Bohemia. Matt, you have 24 hours to switch to a disband if you are so inclined.
Fall 1912 is due next Tuesday.
