No retreats today, as Turkey pre-emptively orders A Ukraine - Sevastopol. Elsewhere, it's the ongoing story of an overwhelmed Sultanate giving way freely to advancing French fleets. And the question arises: is there a solo being thrown? [Speaking as somebody who recently threw a solo in a no-press game, I know it can be done]. Or is Turkey hoping to make himself indispensable in a draw? And will France bite for the bait? Very tempting questions. Should be a lively discussion at the pub tonight.
We may know more in the Spring, for there is a 2-way FG draw proposal. Votes will be counted in the Spring and not sooner.
Meanwhile, France and Germany get a chance to build:
Austria: Supp 3 Unit 3 Build 0
France: Supp 14 Unit 11 Build 3
Germany: Supp 10 Unit 8 Build 2
Turkey: Supp 7 Unit 7 Build 0
By the way, if you've been following the scoreboard, two games have already ended with 3- and 4-way draws. Another (DC 413) appears to be headed for a 3- or 4-way draw in spite of a 16-center France. And yet another (DC 40
is a viable Turkish solo on account of NMRs. Just keeping you informed.
