Drama to open1905! An NMR!! (It was veeeeerrrrry close to being two). And a seeming misorder. The only way we could've had more drama is if there had been an actual stab.
First, the NMR. Russia NMR's. Is that good? Probably not. Units do not advance toward the front. That fleet in Denmark does not support the Turkish attack on Kiel (which it may or may not have intended). Allies are not reassured. And yet... Now Russia has the option to retreat into Clyde (or Barents Sea), and is that so bad?
Then there's the 'misorder'. Turkey orders Con to Aeg to Ion to Tun to... F Tun S F WMe... F WMe-MAt. Those orders sure do give the impression that John intended to order F Tun-WMe and that his misorder caused a 4-unit Mediterranean traffic jam. On the other hand, that 'misorder' allows France to succeed with F Spa-WMe, which in turn allows Turkey to advance F Lyo-Spa.
And this leaves France with a decision. Does his fleet retreat northward to help England against Russia? Or does it retreat to Portugal in hopes of counterattacking Spain? Or does it retreat to Brest to protect the French flank? Or...
Retreats are due tomorrow at the usual hour.
The Russian fleet in Norwegian Sea may retreat to Barents Sea, Clyde, or OTB
The French fleet in Mid-Atlantic Ocean may retreat to Brest, English Channel, Irish Sea, North Atlantic Ocean, Portugal, or OTB.
