Gentlemen,

I apologize for not having wrapped this game up better than I did. I had been on a two week vacation visiting family in various parts of the west. I arrived home to discover my home internet service was down. Unfortunately the provider was reluctant to believe it was a problem on their end, not with my modem, and it took well over a week to get service restored. When it finally was, this game had somewhat slipped my mind.

As you know, the game ended in a three way draw between France, Germany and Russia. I'd again like to congratulate Sun, Andrew, Lynn, and Michael on this result.

I'd like to collect and publish End of Game statements from each of you. Please, rather than emailing them to the group directly, please send them to me, and I will then publish them simultaneously. That allows everyone to express their thoughts, without the EOGs turning into reactions to the first couple published. There will be plenty of time to react and comment on others EOG when they all see the light of day.

Gentlemen,
The game is over as all seven players voted in favor of a French-German-Russian three way draw. Congratulations to Sun, Andrew, and Lynn as well as Michael, our original France.
I apologize for not sending this information last night, but I failed to make it all the way home, choosing instead to camp in the woods between Crescent City, California and Cave Junction, Oregon. I am still not in a spot with regular internet, so I can't send a final map or update the game page at diplomaticcorp. But I figured you would want to know this result, and a message from my phone would suffice for now.
As I said in my note yesterday, I am more than happy to GM another game of 1900, though if I do, I'd like to use some other mapping software than realpolitik. Any suggestions? If there were interest in playing Ambition & Empire rather than 1900, I'd start one of those games instead. Also I like to play these games too, so if any of you are willing and able to master a game, I encourage you to do so, and consider me as a player.
Thanks for playing this game, and for the most part submitting orders in a timely manner with minimal prodding. It's been fun. I hope everyone else enjoyed it too.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
