So seriously...does anyone feel good about the results other than Dale who survived?
Somehow Russia got Will to move his army AWAY from Scandanavia and then took Edi; he convince Turkey that he wasn't attacking him [or will] but instead took my center and will swear that I am evil; he kept Dale in the game by [probably] telling him that Tri would end up open so move there - thus reducing my ability to stop him; AND got three centers. Bad form for us indeed and I am the WORST to blame because I believed the BS.
So what shall we do since NONE of us benefit from Russia getting a solo. I propose this:
1. I retreat Vie to Tyr. From there I can SUPPORT Dale in Tri and ensure that he doesn't lose it.
2. I make my remove EMS. I only leave A Smy so that I can continually bounce Sev-Arm. Alexander - I wish there was a way that I could give back Smy without you risking a loss at Ank but I cannot. If there was I would simply disband A Smy and move the Fs to the west. Unfortunately that means that it is vulnerable [or Ank is] which probably doesn't work.
3. I will move Fs in a postion to defend the Austrian coast.
4. France move Lpl-Cly and Wal-Lpl. Either France or Germany can then TAKE Edi from Russia in the Fall and there is nothing he can do about it regardless of builds. France can pick up England later.
5. Germany can move east with his armies and then we can stalemate Russia...he isn't past the line yet and CANNOT get past it if we all work together. While a 6-way draw isn't sexy, it definitely beats an elimination or solo by Russia.
Honestly I think that he stabbed too early. By doing that now he has left us the capability to counter [thank God]. Let's make sure that we make it pay off for us.

What an awesome game! I can’t believe how crazy this one’s getting…
Let’s see…
Austria returns to his roots in Trieste, aided by Russia…
3 nationalities land an army on English soil, none of them English…
Italy’s convoy finally lands in Smy, but Trieste and Greece fall for a net loss…
Russia racks up a 3-build turn!
I can’t wait to see what happens next! Especially in England, where 5 of the 6 spaces are now occupied with units!
RETREATS:
Italian A Vie, to Boh or Tyr or OTB
Turk A Smy, to Arm or Syr or OTB
BUILDS:
(Assuming both units retreat)
Germany: Remove 1
Italy: Remove 1
Turkey: Remove 1
Russia: Build 3
RETREATS and BUILDS are ALL due together, Friday (tomorrow) 4pm Pacific!
Enjoy,
-mike
